Kathy Tozier is a 500 Hr Kripalu Certified RYT
She first discovered yoga as a means to counterbalance the effects of marathon training on her body, but was quickly captivated by the integration of mind, body and spirit she discovered in practicing yoga. After 7 years of deepening practice she pursued 200hr certification at Kripalu in 2014 and completed her 500 hr certification in 2017. Kathy guides her students in class to understand and practice the Eight Limbs of yoga found in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras with special emphasis on pranayama, alignment and creative sequencing of asanas with awareness turned inward.
Kathy has a lighthearted approach to teaching and wants students to feel that yoga practice is like a playground. She is also certified in Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga.
