Elizabeth Weiler began her yoga journey when she was in her mid 40’s, using the physical asanas and breath work as a way to combat the stress of her career as a school administrator. She quickly became intrigued with the other limbs of yoga, and deepened her practice by intentionally studying different styles of yoga with a variety of teachers. Elizabeth completed her teacher training with Asheville Yoga Center’s Stephanie Keach in 2007 and has since returned for additional work with Doug Keller in therapeutic yoga, and Shala Worsley in Yin Yoga. She utilizes an eclectic style of teaching yoga, and prefers working with beginners or those who have returned to yoga for healing and health.  She became part of the Village Yoga family when VY was located in the silo at Reynolda Village, and has continued to follow her yoga path as the studio has moved and grown. Her greatest joy in teaching is when a student discovers  what had seemed impossible becomes the Possible.
