Stacey started practicing Bikram yoga in 1997 when her doctor told her to find a stretching class to help alleviate swollen joints after her daughter’s birth 5 months before. That was in Louisville, KY and she has been a faithful yoga practitioner ever since. In 2007 Stacey started practicing vinyasa flow to expand her yoga practice and knowledge.

Born and raised in Southern California, Stacey has studied and lived in California, Scotland, Canada, England, Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, Kentucky and North Carolina. She married Mitch in 1988 and has a daughter, Hannah and a son, Joey. She and her family moved to Winston Salem from London, England in 2004. Stacey volunteered with WSFCS for many years while her children were in school. She has been volunteering with Forsyth County Meals on Wheels since 2013.

In 2015 Stacey returned to London, England to do her yoga teacher training with her former teachers. Stacey received her RYT200 from Michele Pernetta’s Fierce Grace Hot Yoga – a hot yoga system based on Ashtanga, Power, classical Hatha and Bikram yoga. Stacey teaches Fierce Grace classes and vinyasa flow. Stacey’s classes are considered all level with attention to alignment and strengthening the body. Students will work hard in her classes, but will have fun, at whatever level their yoga practice.
